change perspectives

We all see through different lenses. Some make the world appear in a radiant light, others are dirty and blur our vision. Some are high-quality designer glasses, others have yellow lenses and are studded with little stones. And yet we are looking at the same reality. Let's change our perspective. Look at it from a different angle and from a different distance. Put on our neighbor's sunglasses for once. Situations seem to change and almost dissolve. And some things seem bigger and more important at times than they really are.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”
If we change our perspective and try to put ourselves in other people's shoes, for example, it often quickly becomes clear that it's not just about our own situation. It's much more about the bigger picture and how we interact and communicate with each other. If I now allow myself to look at the world from a different perspective and am open to a different view of the world, I am ready to learn. And so we are always teachers and students at the same time. Because I also change my point of view. I am a listener and sometimes I have something to say. And sometimes it's just a listening ear. It's a balance. A give and take. And what can I say, it's wonderful. When I meet people with whom I can talk about topics that move us in a similar way and touch us deeply, despite a large age difference, a completely different background and the most diverse life experiences.
