Make a wish

After I needed a quick and radical change to feel safe again, many things happened that I accept and appreciate with great gratitude. My life has turned 180 degrees. As they say so beautifully here: everything was falling into place and it was ment to be.

Whether it is a manifestation - yes, I had a clear idea of what I wanted. I wanted a large, well-equipped kitchen, after months in an improvised kitchen with just one pot. Trees, as my old home was very open and there was no tree nearby. Animals, like minded people who have a similar world view to mine and we can share similarities.

Within a few days, I had a new job, a new home with my favorite trees in the garden. The wind rustles gently through the mango leaves and the delicate scent of frangipani flowers wafts through the bright, peaceful home. I'm warmly welcomed by the dog when I come home from work, we eat together and have lovely conversations. I couldn't have imagined it any better. And I realize how much I can relax. I'm spending time in the kitchen again, baking and cooking. After 4 months of 1-pot dishes, it's a real pleasure.

Am I just lucky and was it just a coincidence that I met these people? Or is it karma - some people believe it must be karma. According to the definition, karma is a sense of justice or a force that brings balance to the universe. Through good deeds and respectful behavior towards others, bad karma can be transformed into good karma.

Which I think is quite true. Because for me it is a great value to treat my fellow human beings with respect and to help them if it is within my means. It says that everything that happens to us in our lives is the result of our previous actions.

And yes, that is true. I didn't just wait for something to happen. I made contacts, talked to people and took the opportunity that life gave me. It was as if the right doors had opened at the right time.

I have a new daily routine with fresh mangoes, papayas and herbs from the garden, enjoy the tropical weather and work a lot.

And so I have decided to stay for a while longer.
